WELCOME TO MUSIC HEAVEN

Brendan founded East Coast Records in 2021 after more than 10 years building start-ups in the tech industry and wanting a change of pace.

He started collecting records with his Dad as a kid, took over the collection as a teenager and kept it growing. His dad passed away in August of 2020 after a heart attack, but his music taste lives on in the form or "Mike's Picks", a section you can find in the shop that's kept fully stocked with the music he loved the most.

After a brief stint at a booth in the Artisan Gallery to test the waters of the Amherst music scene, East Coast Records found a more permanent home at 8 Havelock St. Downtown and had their Grand Opening on October 1st of 2021.
